Carhartt WIP and Pass-Port are two brands you’d think go together like cheese and red wine. And you’d be right for thinking that, too, seeing as both brands are very much defined by their work wear aesthetic: Carhartt, founded back in 1889 as a work wear supplier, has always stayed true to its roots – a strategy that has paid off time and again with folks from all walks of life, including hip hop, punk, and skateboarding subcultures. Aussie brand Pass-Port, while being considerably younger, also embraces the working man’s straightforward ethos: their company logo is a roadworker, and their motto is “work hard.” It’s this down-to-earth attitude places both brands squarely among our favorites, and we’re pretty hyped that they’ve come together for their second collaboration. The collection consists of a black corduroy work jacket, a white pin-striped polo shirt, and the specifically designed wide leg Pall Pant. Plus, there’s an assortment of pretty nice looking decks to go along with the textile part of the collection. You can buy the new Carhartt WIP X Pass-Port collection from May 23rd at our web shop and at our store in Frankfurt.
